I came across this tremendous gallery in the Denver Post of war-era colour slides of ordinary American life a few months ago and meant to post it at the time. The slides were shot by photographers of the Farm Security Administration/Office of War Information and are some of the only colour photographs taken of the effects of the Depression on America’s rural and small town populations.
